As a licensed independent social worker (LICSW), a mindfulness practitioner, a dancer, a movement teacher, and a student of non-duality and other various mind-body and somatic approaches to movement and meditation, I bring a variety of perspectives and unique techniques to my work.
In therapy together, we will take your lead. We'll explore mind-body connections, practice embodiment and interoception (feeling the body from the inside out), tap into collective resource, and develop your personal regulation, empowerment and creative tools to weather life's ups and downs.
I am open to exploring all of life's challenges-- it's important to note that I am trauma-informed and that I encourage (but never force!) movement and mindfulness. I am comfortable and enjoy working with people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, gender non-conforming, gender-fluid, straight, monogamous, open, curious, questioning, asexual, polyamorous, as well as other gender and sexual identities and relationship statuses. I am very open to using the terms that feel most comfortable to you.
I center and prioritize equity and access for people with marginalized identities in my practice and I manage my waitlist accordingly.
I accept the following insurances: Green Mountain Care/Dr. Dynasaur, Blue Cross Blue Shield/CBA Blue, Optum/United, Cigna, MVP.
